Add a server to favourites through Steam

If you can't find our servers when searching for them, you can add them to favorites through Steam. This is how you do that:

  1. Open up Steam

  2. Click View in the upper left corner

  3. Go to Servers

  4. Go to Add a server

  5. Write the IP adress

  6. Click Add this adress to favourites

​

The server should now appear in your server list for favourite server.

The quick fix

If you  have a problem logging in, make sure to re-log from the game and steam. It's probably a mod, or steam, that needs an update (this should automatically happen when you relog)

Connection issues and/or transfer problems

If you can't see our servers in the server list when login in, or if you can't transfer between them, it might be due to one of the following reasons:

  • You need to update Steam, a mod, or the game. Log out completely from Steam and log-in again. That should do the trick.

  • You need to verify your game cache. Down below you can see how to do that.

  • If you can't transfer between our maps you might need to go to an obelisk/a drop/terminal/transmitter. Access the inventory on it. Click on 'tranfer to a another server'. Uncheck the box at the bottom (left corner) that says 'Show password protected'. The problem should now be solved.

How to verify your game cache

If there's an error when trying to log on to a server you can verify your cache files. This is how you do that:

 

  1. Open Steam Click on "Library"

  2. Right-click "Ark: Survival Evolved"

  3. Click on "Properties"

  4. Click the "Local Files"

  5. Tab Click on "Verify Integrity of Game Cache"

  6. Let it run its process and download any missing files.

 

Now you should be able to start the game.

How to add Classic Flyers to Smartbreeder

We have the mod CF (Classic Flyers) on our servers and you need to add this to Smartbreeder for it to work on flying dinos.

  1. Open up Smartbreeder

  2. Click on File in the upper left corner

  3. Go to Load additional files

  4. Click Okay

  5. Go to Ark Smartbreeder - json

  6. Chose ClassicFlyers.json

  7. Open it.
     

Now you've added CF to Smartbreeder and everything should work correctly.
